a full day of email

After a full day of emailing I feel as though I really didn't get anything done. Could that really be possible. Is this really true?

What a horrible thought.

It all seems so, so, temporary. And I guess that's because our company doesn't keep email longer than three weeks.

How insane is that? I can't even search my Inbox for significant messages.

What if I get asked a question someone else has asked a month ago. I'll have to compose it all over again. Can't search for it in my Inbox or Sent mail. How productive can that be?
