beautiful faces

Keyed in "faces" into a google search and then clicked on images. I'm looking for simple faces I can do as practice. Eventually want to be able to do this "LIVE" but not good enough to do this in front of people. This is the "safe" way to do this for sure.

The Internet is a wonderful place to do this kind of sketching.

I think she looked happier in the picture than she does here. Maybe she's not to happy about how I sketched her?

Just happened to come across your blog. Love your writing style!

As for faces: search for OLD people, wrinkly people. All the lines and shapes helps give visual cues for how to acctually shape the same things on paper.

Simple faces, round young ones, are so smooth they're hard to translate to a drawing.

And I think you really got the hair on this picture! Went to art school for 3 years, never was able to do hair..!
